Public recognises innovative app for hotels
VINN Cockpit, the trend-setting hotel guest app from Krefeld-based VINN GmbH, has been nominated for the semi-final of the TechOvation Award 2018. With this award the Hotel Technology Forum awards HT-NEXT companies for their outstanding performance in the areas of customer orientation and business innovation.
VINN Cockpit is one of ten semi-finalists. Like their competitors, VINN GmbH presented its product with a shortversion of the VINN video, which was then available for public vote on the internet. On March 14th, the semi-finalists will now be presenting their products live on stage in San Diego, California, at the HT-NEXT Forum. A jury is then going to select the 3 finalists, from who the audience will pick the TechOvation Award Winner 2018.
The app VINN Cockpit is a guest-centered platform that combines the individual technologies in the partner hotels all in one app.
Upon check-in, the hotel‘s hardware and software profile is automatically updated to the guest‘s mobile device. In this way, all released services like room control, a digital key, check-in/check-out, mobile payment and many other guest-oriented functions can be requested and managed individually and personalised. The in the guest‘s mobile device stored preferred room temperature is just as much considered in as the room extension used as a softphone client to allow hotels that do not want to install physical phones anymore, direct communication with the guest.
